Factum Design is the name of creative team formed by the couple Alexandru Schiopu, graphic designer, and Cristina Sabau, copywriter, in 2007. The team based in Bucharest, Romania, is the natural result of a ten year collaboration aimed at bringing creative ideas to life in different kinds of projects.

Factum Design works are a mix of visual languages and personal experiences rooted in practice of graphic design, but also in photography, graphic arts and design theory. The projects reveal the interest in modern design thinking brought up in concepts with a fresh approach of graphic elements, layout, color and type.

Factum Design portfolio contains works of editorial design, corporate design and advertising, for Romanian and international companies.

Alexandru Schiopu is trained in graphic design and works as an art director for over one decade. His projects concern mainly editorial design, packaging design, corporate/brand identity, together with print campaigns.

Cristina Sabau is a design journalist and copywriter. In the latest years, her projects were focused on branding and identity projects, creating verbal identities, brand rhetoric, brand literature, and naming.

"Understanding design: a path for children education" (Designul pe intelesul copiilor) is a new Cristina's educational project dedicated to children (8-13 years old) to observe and to understand the design of the daily objects. www.designul-pe-intelesul-copiilor.blogspot.com
