The Order of Romanian Architects wants to raise the awareness among a large segment of the population regarding the worrying destruction of Romanian architectural and urbanistic heritage occurred after 1990. Beyond discussion, there is a need of an "object" to persuade the public more.

To accomplish this aim, Factum Design was asked to propose a design concept for this important topic. The main idea was that of creating a memorable image, though in an accessible and suitable printed form, highlighting the gravity of the situation. The result was a kind of folder in its shape and its content of case-files. The book-folder based on paper office format accomplished the stated task: to impress and also to attract the public attention. It is a strong presence on the shelf due to its unconventional book cover (with perforated binding in order to be put into a personal folder), and its saturated color printed with black bold type. The book interior preserves the dramatic perception induced by the case studies printed on black background.
