The Maria Filotti Dramatic Theatre from Braila searched for a poster to promote the new production drama of the well-known piece written by A.P. Chekhov, The Gull.

Alexandru Schiopu was asked by the stage designer to create the layout of the poster for the theatre. The image focused the attention on a lake image, especially on its waves. In the poster concept, the lake is the hero (like in the stage design - everything happens around the lake or it's related in a way with its presence) and stays in the spotlight.
